The above item was a nice Garage Sale find recently. I love to pick up unique items that make me feel good inside. I could not help but think about the old Taco Bell commercials with the little
Chihuahua. The dog was known to it's owner as Gidget. She died in 2009 at the age of 15.
What I like about finding items and sharing my finds with others, is that there are times when the seller shares a story about the item with you. Other times there are no verbal exchanges, but you can see in their eyes that they really did not want to part with that item.
We all have things we enjoy for whatever reason. When we decide to give them up, it is either because we are in need of the money, or we simply want the item(s) to be enjoyed by others. I did a little research after buying the Taco Bell dog. I learned something in the process of this find. I am now going to sell it to someone who hopefully is a collector and will enjoy it for years to come. If you are a member of Facebook, you can search for Jackson County For Sale Group. The group is 5,000 members strong and was formed in Jackson Michigan for people to buy and sell. You will need to live in the Jackson area as the items are sold and picked up at a location determined by the buyer and seller. To become a member, you will need to join the group and wait to be accepted. If you know someone in the group, you can ask them to "add a friend".
